What is the Social Club?

The Alternative Wales Social Club is our community of supporters who share a love for Welsh football, culture, and independent media. Designed to bring people together, the Social Club offers exclusive content, events, football sessions, perks, and real-world community.

FAQs

  • Magazines are released twice per year (March and September). You will only receive the next issue released after your sign-up date—back issues are not included. Special editions (like the World Cup issue) are shipped when produced.

  • After signing up, you’ll get access to:

    • Long reads and podcasts via your member portal

    • Members-only chat via our WhatsApp group

    • Events are free to members unless stated otherwise.

    • All events will be publicised on our website, social media and mailing list.

    • Football sessions for Tier 2 members are free but subject to availability. Join our WhatsApp group to sign up.

    • Participation is at your own risk.

  • Monthly memberships can be cancelled at any time. Annual memberships are non-refundable after 14 days. Cancelling stops future payments, but you keep access until the end of your billing period.
